Eligibility

  1. Current student enrolled and in good standing in a technology/engineering program with a focus on geomatics or a related discipline at a recognized post-secondary institution. The scholarship is open to students residing in Canada. Eligible programs may include, but are not limited to, the following programs:
    • Lethbridge College – Engineering Design Technology; Civil Engineering Technology; Geomatics Engineering Technology
    • SAIT – Geomatics Engineering Technology; Engineering Design and Drafting Technology; Civil Engineering Technology
    • NAIT – Civil Engineering Technology; Engineering Design and Drafting Technology; Geomatics Engineering Technology
  2. Financial need.
  3. A student in good standing having completed at least one full semester of a relevant minimum 2-year technology program at an eligible Alberta college or technical institute and with a minimum GPA of 2.7.
  4. Student demonstrates an interest in developing leadership skills and industry involvement through whatever means is accessible to them (e.g., participating in school functions, volunteering, attending extracurricular courses or industry activities, etc.).
  5. Student demonstrates a desire to progress with a career in geomatics.
